Donate non-perishable food items to benefit our Barrington area neighbors in need.

HELP THE BARRINGTON AREA MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON PARADE DAY!

Bring nonperishable food to the 2011 Independence Day Parade and deposit it in one of the collection bins along the parade route or wait for the Food Drive Float in the Parade and have it place with other contributions on the special parade entry.

Food will be distributed to the local Barrington and Cuba Township Food Pantries.

Barrington area food pantries operate solely on donations and are always happy to accept donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items. Please look at the wish list below for ideas of items to donate.

• Cold and hot cereals
• Coffee
• Paper products
• Laundry detergent
• Cleaning supplies
• Peanut Butter
• Canned fruit
• Jelly
• Juice
• Snacks
• Pet food
• Non-perishable prepared dinners
• Toiletries: toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
• Canned chicken and tuna
• Gift cards to local grocery/discount stores in $10 denominations.

No food donation is too big or too small. As a community we can give back on Parade Day. Join our efforts!
