HELP THE BARRINGTON AREA MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON PARADE
DAY!
Help us continue the tradition of giving.
Donate non-perishable food items to benefit our Barrington area neighbors in need.
Bring nonperishable food to the 2012 4th of July Parade and deposit it in one of the collection bins along the parade route or wait for the Food Drive Float in the Parade and have it placed with other contributions on the special parade entry.
Food will be distributed to the local Barrington and Cuba Township Food Pantries.
Barrington area food pantries operate solely on donations and are always happy to accept donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items. Please look at the wish list below for ideas of items to donate.
No food donation is too big or too small. As a community we can give back on Parade Day. Join our efforts!
LOOK OUT FOR THE FOOD DRIVE FLOAT IN THIS YEAR’S PARADE!

- Coffee
- Paper products
- Laundry detergent
- Cleaning supplies
- Peanut Butter
- Canned fruit
- Jelly
- Juice
- Snacks
- Pet food
- Non-perishable prepared dinners
- Toiletries: toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
- Canned chicken and tuna
- Gift cards to local grocery/discount stores in $10 denominations.
